Glissading down Mt. Ruapehu
This is the tail end of my glissade. The full extent of the slope isn’t visible in this video but the tracks in the snow are in the first couple seconds. It was a pretty epic (read: steep and fast) glissade. I definitely should have borrowed someone’s gloves to wear: my hands were raw from steering. Taken by Vince Weeks.

Ellerslie Intl. Flower Show in Christchurch
Yesterday a friend and I went to the Ellerslie International Flower Show in Christchurch on opening day. The ticket price was quite expensive, so we hoped for a good show.
