To the mountains!
Tomorrow I leave to spend a month in Montana looking at and collecting rocks in the Little Belt and Highland mountain ranges. I fly out of Philly to Bozeman by way of the Twin Cities and come back via Denver towards the end of August.
Back in PA but off to Montana in the morning. Eating delicious cinnamon sugar donuts from the local fair In the meantime.

Slowly untangling and unpacking the mess in the middle of my room. Tomorrow I’m up to Amherst for a couple days.
Woke up early! Today’s plan: grilling and sitting on the deck with a drink. Mmmm.
It’s good to be home and summer is glorious.

Boarded flight to Philadelphia but it’s departing late. Made the mistake of waiting too long to buy food and everything closed. Chips it is.
Ugh, LAS has no wifi. There was also no way to switch terminals without exiting security. Le suck.
Landed LAS. Beautiful enormous thunderheads close by during the flight.
Boarded flight to Las Vegas. I’ll have to resist playing the slots.
Forgot about a small but lockable blade that I inadvertently moved from checked to carry on. They called it concealed but only warned me.
Landed in Auckland. Now just a three hour layover until leaving for LAX.
